Their not heroes but they aren’t villains or anti-heroes either… they are the Doom Patrol.

A spin-off from DC Universe’s Titans, Doom Patrol is the second series in the Titansverse. The series focuses on the members of the Doom Patrol that were introduced in the Doom Patrol episode in Titans. The show will focus on Robotman, Elasti-Girl, Negative Man, Crazy Jane, and The Chief as they navigate their way through their new lives.

The show has an R or MA Rating due to graphic violence, language and sex. In other words, the series is NOT for children to watch. Doom Patrol airs weekly on DC Universe for 15 weeks as the first season has 15 episodes.

There won’t be any need to know who the characters are if you aren’t a fan of the group from the comics. Doom Patrol will provide back stories for the characters as the series goes along. How accurate the show is to the comics will depend on the character portrayals.

The show features famous faces including Matt Bomer as the voice of Negative Man and his pre-bandaged body. Brendan Fraser provides the voice of Robotman and his undamaged body. Former James Bond actor Timothy Dalton takes over from Bruno Bichir as Doctor Niles Caulder/The Chief and the ‘father’ the Doom Patrol.

The series will likely end up on Netflix after its 15 episode run because the streaming service has the rights to Titans which is now streaming on the platform. Be on the lookout for any new news on that front!
