Marry

It’s a big wedding weekend in France with two celebrity couples choosing to marry in Paris…

They say Paris is the city of love but is it a coincidence two celebrity couples got married in the same city? Apparently so! This weekend saw Game of Thrones star, Sophie Turner marry legal husband Joe Jonas. Big Little Lies star, Zoë Kravitz married Karl Glusman.

Turner and Jonas married in Las Vegas on May 1st after the Billboard Music Awards. The couple obtained a marriage license that says Turner, upon marriage, changed her surname to Jonas. However, Sophie goes by her maiden name professionally.

The reason Sophie and Joe chose to marry in the US first was they needed their marriage license first before they could marry in Europe.

The Turner-Jonas Wedding in France had celebrity guests including Turner’s Game of Thrones co-stars and Dr. Phil, and Ashley Graham attended the event. Jonas’ brothers Kevin, Nick, and Frankie were on hand, yet again as groomsmen. Turner’s best friend Maisie Williams served as maid of honour. Talk about Game of Thrones sister goals!

Rockin’ Out With The Kravitz Family!

Elsewhere in Paris, Big Little Lies star Zoë Kravitz married Karl Glusman at her dad Lenny Kravitz’s French home. For those who don’t know, Zoë is the daughter of Lenny and former wife, Lisa Bonet. Her stepdad is Aquaman himself, Jason Momoa. Through her mother and stepdad, Zoe is a big sister to two half-siblings.

Guests to the Kravitz-Glusman wedding included Big Little Lies stars, Nicole Kidman, Shailene Woodley (who was also Zoë’s co-star in Divergent), Laura Dern, and Reese Witherspoon. Other guests included Eddie Redmayne and his wife Hannah Bagshawe, Denzel Washington and his wife, Pauletta, Chris Pine, and Annabelle Wallis, Marisa Tomei, and Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson.

From Project: Fangirl, congratulations to both couples!
